Saltos del Moconá, Posadas, Misiones Jungle
DAY BY DAY
We cross the dorsal mountain range known as the “Sierra de Misiones” and visit the falls of Moconá on the Uruguay River. In the afternoon continue to Posadas along the rolling hills of Misiones Province with its characteristic red soils, where you will pass by tea, mate and fruit plantations.
Today we visit the restored Jesuit mission of San Ignacio Mini and archeological sites of Loreto and Santa Ana. In the afternoon guided visit of Posadas on shores of the Paraná River.
We cross into Paraguay and visit one of the best preserved Jesuit missions in the north, with the most impressive temple among all of the Jesuit Guaraní reductions.
